predictions.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>They gather glimpses formulated at a given moment \u2014 sentences, notations, linguistic, material, calendrical, or bodily observations \u2014 which become legible only afterward, when certain events come to pass through them.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>No event is produced by the writing.<br>The writing causes nothing.<br>It merely renders perceptible what, without it, would remain diffuse.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Cin\u00e9scriptographs are not read as continuous narratives, but as one moves through a constellation: in fragments, without imposed mat\u00e9riels, calendaires, corporels \u2014 ne prennent sens qu\u2019a posteriori, lorsqu\u2019ils entrent en r\u00e9sonance avec des \u00e9v\u00e9nements ult\u00e9rieurs v\u00e9rifiables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La cin\u00e9scriptographie ne cherche ni \u00e0 expliquer, ni \u00e0 pr\u00e9dire, ni \u00e0 interpr\u00e9ter symboliquement le r\u00e9el.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elle observe les formes qui pr\u00e9c\u00e8dent les \u00e9v\u00e9nements, et la mani\u00e8re dont certaines configurations deviennent lisibles avec le temps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>CIN\u00c9SCRIPTOGRAPHY<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Cin\u00e9scriptography designates a mode of writing based on the recording of glimpses, formulated without immediate interpretation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>These glimpses \u2014 linguistic, material, calendrical, bodily \u2014 acquire meaning only a posteriori, when they enter into resonance with subsequent, verifiable events.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Cin\u00e9scriptography seeks neither to explain, nor to predict, nor to symbolically interpret reality.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>It observes the forms that croire \u00e0 des signes, ni \u00e0 leur pr\u00eater une intention cach\u00e9e, encore moins \u00e0 supposer une causalit\u00e9 entre des faits h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e8nes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lire sans croire, c\u2019est :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ne pas confondre r\u00e9sonance et r\u00e9v\u00e9lation,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ne pas transformer une co\u00efncidence en message,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ne pas attribuer au monde une volont\u00e9 de parler.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Il ne s\u2019agit pas de croire que le monde r\u00e9pond, mais de constater comment, apr\u00e8s coup, certaines formes \u2014 images, mots, rythmes, gestes \u2014 peuvent entrer en r\u00e9sonance avec des \u00e9v\u00e9nements r\u00e9els, sans que ces \u00e9v\u00e9nements aient \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9s, voulus ou appel\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La cin\u00e9scriptographie travaille \u00e0 partir de mat\u00e9riaux faibles, fragmentaires, souvent anodins.<br>Elle observe comment ces mat\u00e9riaux peuvent, r\u00e9trospectivement, dessiner une configuration sensible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lire sans croire, c\u2019est accepter :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>que le sens apparaisse sans se stabiliser,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>que les liens ne prouvent rien,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>que ce qui se montre ne se referme pas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce travail n\u2019affirme pas que le monde parle.<br>Il montre seulement que, parfois, nous apercevons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La cin\u00e9scriptographie ne demande pas qu\u2019on y croie. Elle demande qu\u2019on regarde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le cin\u00e9scriptographe ne dit pas : \u00ab cela devait arriver \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il montre : \u00ab voil\u00e0 comment, apr\u00e8s coup, cela se relie \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>READING WITHOUT BELIEF<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>To read cin\u00e9scriptographically is neither to believe in signs, nor to attribute hidden intentions to them, still less to assume a causal relationship between heterogeneous facts.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>To read without belief is:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>not to confuse resonance with revelation,<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>not to transform coincidence into a message,<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>not to attribute to the world a will to speak.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>It is not a matter of believing that the world responds, but of observing how, after the fact, certain forms \u2014 images, words, rhythms, gestures \u2014 may enter into resonance with real events, without those events having been announced, intended, or summoned.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Cin\u00e9scriptography works with weak, fragmentary, often banal materials.<br>It observes how these materials may, retrospectively, draw a sensitive configuration.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>To read without belief is to accept:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>that meaning may appear without stabilizing,<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>that connections prove nothing,<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>that what shows itself does not close.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This work does not claim that the world speaks.<br>It shows only that, at times, we glimpse.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Cin\u00e9scriptography does not ask to be believed.
