The name circulates between festive drink, territory, and stock-market acronym. The bubble is at once liquid, financial, and symbolic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The final words mark the tipping point: <em>Smacks<\/em>, puffed wheat cereal, mascot, extreme lightness; a blind voice on the radio; then: \u201cI\u2019m lost.\u201d Euphoria collapses into disorientation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The revealing memory gives this configuration a precise figure.<br>The Madoff fraud rests on the same regime: promise of returns, artificial inflation, mixing of flows, absence of ground. Finance becomes a puffed substance, held together by air. Everything takes on light, edible, playful forms, while what is unfolding involves invisible and irreversible masses.
